
	The boat diving in our area is world class. However, the reefs are too deep for snorkeling. Fortunately we have some nice beach sites for snorkeling.

The closest site to the boat is just one mile North of Ocean Avenue on A1A.

This site features a clean public beach with restroom facilities, a snack bar, and ample parking.

To get the most out of this site, snorkel around the rock piles at the edge of the beach. But be careful to not get pushed against the rocks if the seas are rough.

For better snorkeling, go three miles south of Ocean Avenue on A1A.

This site features a guarded beach, fishing, a children's play area, picnic areas with grills, restroom facilities, and outdoor showers.

If you are a strong swimmer, there is an off-shore artificial reef dubbed "Barney Rubble Reef". The reef is located 400 feet due East of the beach and consists of small to large size rocks spread over an area 500 feet long and 40 to 90 feet wide. Or stay closer to shore where there is still much to see.

Snorkeling Rentals

Snorkeling equipment is not available at the beach. However, if you need equipment, you can rent a mask, snorkel, and fins set from us for $15 for 24 hours.
